11月3日，以馬內利教會在十二月首個主日中見證兩位兄姊受洗歸入主的名下，並鼓勵會眾抓住給人真正安息的耶穌基督。

宣教士以馬太福音11章28-30節的話語分享，強調在基督身上有兩個安息，一是來到基督面前，卸下罪的重擔，得到救恩的自由，二是背起愛的十字架，與主同行，這樣就能經歷到從上頭而來的更大的喜樂和安息。

證道後宣教士為兩名兄姊受洗，會眾們都感到十分歡欣和喜悅。

一位同工其後分享道：「感謝主無限的愛及恩典！很感謝神今天讓我可以和受洗蒙福的弟兄姊妹一起慶祝生日。神讓我在這個教會裡找到了我一直想尋求的非常有深度和常常觸動我心靈的真理，找到人生真正的意義，很多的夢想得以實現或實現中，對得救的確信，以及找到永生的盼望。這一切如果沒耶穌為我在十字架上捨己的愛沒有可能發生。所以我的餘生願意跟隨主到最後回應主的愛，愛主所愛的羊。感謝永遠不放棄我們，且愛我們到底的主！」

Bobby弟兄受洗後的分享：「在過去的生活中，我並不相信世上有神，也不相信這世間會有奇蹟發生。但在學習了《聖經》之後，我與主之間的牆壁似乎被打破了，我的心也漸漸地能感受到神的存在。我感覺到自己與主恢復了信心，而我的靈魂也不再像過往那樣流離失所。經歷了洗禮之後，主與我的信心變的愈發強烈，似乎要勝過這世上一切的情感。不管怎麼說，我感謝祢，主基督耶穌。感謝祢救贖我的靈魂，感謝祢讓我與傳道人以及教會裡的其他弟兄姊妹相遇。遇見祢，主基督耶穌，就是這世上最大的奇蹟。」

Lily姊妹受洗後的分享：「我多年返教會都離開了主耶稣，沒有讓主住在我的心中，一直不明白接受罪的意思，今次在這個教會學習聖經，真正明白接受罪和願意悔改，如今天牧師所說，成為新做的人，每天都是新的一天，一切都在主的安排，主賜我喜樂的家，有主的愛在當中，我將榮耀歸於主。」

Immanuel Church Greets First Sunday of December with Very Graceful Baptism

On November 3, Immanuel Church welcomed two people baptized gracefully in first Sunday of December, and urged congregants to hold up Jesus Christ who is the one giving the true rest.

Missionary firstly shared the Word from Matthew 11:28-30, highlighting two rests upon the Christ, one is to come to Him for laying down the weight of sin and receive the freedom of salvation, and the other is to carry the cross of love with the Lord, then will experience greater joy and rest from above.

After the sermon, missionary had baptism for two people and all congregants were very joyful.

A minister shared afterwards: “Thank you Lord for His infinite love and grace! I am very grateful to God for allowing me to celebrate my birthday with brother and sister who were baptized and blessed today. God allowed me to find the very deep and touching truth in my heart that I have always wanted to seek in this church. I found the true meaning of life. Many of my dreams were come true or in the process of being fulfilled. I was convinced of my salvation and found the hope of eternal life. None of these would have been possible without the love of Jesus who sacrificed himself on the cross for me. Therefore, I am willing to follow the Lord for the rest of my life until I respond to the Lord’s love and love what the Lord loves. Thank you to the Lord who never gives up on us and loves us to the end!”

Brother Bobby’s sharing after baptism: “In my past life, I did not believe that there was a God in the world, nor did I believe that miracles would happen in this world. But after studying the Bible, the wall between me and the Lord seemed to be broken, and my heart gradually felt the presence of God. I feel like I have restored my faith with the Lord and my soul is no longer as wandering as it once was. After experiencing baptism, my faith in the Lord and I became stronger and stronger, seeming to outweigh all the emotions in the world. Anyway, I thank you, Lord Christ Jesus. Thank you for saving my soul. Thank you for allowing me to meet Agnes and other brothers and sisters in the church. Meeting Him, our Lord Jesus Christ, is the greatest miracle in the world.”

Sister Lily’s sharing after baptism: “I have left the Lord Jesus after returning to church for many years. I have not allowed the Lord to live in my heart. I have never understood the meaning of recognizing sin. This time I studied the Bible in this church and truly understood the recognizing of sin and the willingness to repent. As the pastor said today, become As a new person, every day is a new day. Everything is arranged by the Lord. The Lord has given me a happy home with the Lord’s love in it. I give glory to the Lord.”
