2月18日，以馬內利教會舉行農曆新年後首個主日崇拜，宣教士誠懇呼籲會眾默想主的苦難，並在四旬節期間與主同行。

在崇拜中，宣教士以約翰福音13章1-3節分享信息：「就愛他們到底」。他強調四旬節是一個迎來屬靈的復興和更新的非常寶貴的預備期，「當在屬靈上迎來復興和覺醒時，會帶給我們生命中真正的轉變，然後我們也能看到主為我們打開的更大的世界。」

其次，他提醒會眾正確地看待主所賦予的自我認識和使命，就像耶穌面對十字架道路時，祂沒有陷入絕望之中，而是全心相信天父走向了十字架。

宣教士最後也鼓勵：「透過苦難，我們的愛會變得更深。從這個角度來看，苦難對我們來說是必要的，也是有意義的。可能我們未必願意接受，但經歷這個過程對我們來說是有益的：我們的信仰也會變得更加潔淨。」

Immanuel Sunday Urges Congregant to Walk with the Lord in Lent

On February 18, Immanuel Church had its first Sunday serive after Lunar Chinese Year, missionary was sincere to urge congregant to meditate the suffering of the Lord and walk with Him in period of the Lent.

In service, missionary shared a message from John 13:1-3: “He loved them to the end”. He emphasized the Lent is a very precious period of preparation to greet the spiritual revival and renewal. “Once the spirit is revived and awakened, it will bring true transformation in our lives, then we are able to see a greater world the Lord opens for us,” he added.

Secondly, he asked everyone to have a right self-identity and mission the Lord has given to them, like while Jesus was facing the path of the cross, He didn’t fall into the despair but instead He believed in the Heavenly Father to walk towards the cross.

Missionary lastly concluded with an encouragement: “Through suffering, our love will grow deeper. From this perspective, suffering is necessary and meaningful for us. Even we are not willing to accept it, but it is beneficial for us to go through this process: our faith will become more pure.”
